Bill Title: Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that notwithstanding any other provision of law, the add-on Medicaid payments to hospitals and freestanding chronic dialysis centers established under the Illinois Administrative Code for dates of service July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015 shall be restored and in effect for dates of service on and after July 1, 2015 with no end date for such payments. Effective immediately.

SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
305 ILCS 5/5-5.08 new

1 AN ACT concerning public aid.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
5adding Section 5-5.08 as follows:
6 (305 ILCS 5/5-5.08 new)
7 Sec. 5-5.08. Dialysis center funding. Notwithstanding any
8other provision of law, the add-on Medicaid payments to
9hospitals and freestanding chronic dialysis centers
10established under 89 Ill. Adm. Code 148.140(g)(4) for dates of
11service July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015 shall be restored
12and in effect for dates of service on and after July 1, 2015
13with no end date for such payments.
14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
15becoming law.
