Bill Title: Amends the Energy Efficient Building Act. Provides that no member of an advisory council created as a result of the Act may receive State grants for teaching or administering continuing education concerning any recommendation or rule proposed by the advisory council. Effective immediately.

1 | AN ACT concerning State government.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | Section 5. The Energy
Efficient Building Act is amended by | ||||||
5 | adding Section 50 as follows:

6 | (20 ILCS 3125/50 new) | ||||||
7 | Sec. 50. Prohibition on grants. No member of an advisory | ||||||
8 | council created as a result of this Act may receive State | ||||||
9 | grants for teaching or administering continuing education | ||||||
10 | concerning any recommendation or rule proposed by the advisory | ||||||
11 | council.

12 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
13 | becoming law.
