In provisions allowing the Bensenville Park District to sell up to 125 acres of the White Pines Golf Course owned by the District, changes the date the provisions are repealed to June 30, 2024 (currently, January 1, 2023). Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning local government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Park Commissioners Land Sale Act is amended
by changing Section 15 as follows:

(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2023)
Sec. 15. Sale of Bensenville Park District land.
(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the
Bensenville Park District may sell up to 125 acres of the White
Pines Golf Course owned by the District if:
(i) the board of commissioners of the Bensenville Park
District authorizes the sale by a four-fifths vote of the
commissioners in office at the time of the vote; and
(ii) the sale price equals or exceeds the average of 3
independent appraisals commissioned by the Bensenville
Park District.
(b) This Section is repealed on June 30, 2024 January 1,
2023.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
