Provides that the provision only applies to property located in Alexander County, Union County, Williamson County, or Jackson County. Effective immediately.

SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
520 ILCS 5/2.23-5 new

Amends the Wildlife Code. 1 AN ACT concerning wildlife.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by adding Section
52.23-5 as follows:
6 (520 ILCS 5/2.23-5 new)
7 Sec. 2.23-5. Duck blind or pit. A person shall not
8establish or use a blind or pit for the taking of wild ducks
9within 100 yards of the boundary of property on which the blind
10or pit is located without consent from the landowner of the
11adjacent property. This Section shall only apply to property
12located in Alexander County, Union County, Williamson County,
13or Jackson County.

15 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
16becoming law.
