Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning nonjoinder and misjoinder of parties.

1 AN ACT concerning civil law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by
5changing Section 2-407 as follows:
6 (735 ILCS 5/2-407) (from Ch. 110, par. 2-407)
7 Sec. 2-407. Nonjoinder and misjoinder of parties - Change
8of parties. No action shall be dismissed for misjoinder of
9parties, or dismissed for nonjoinder of necessary parties
10without first affording reasonable opportunity to add them as
11parties. New parties may be added and and parties misjoined may
12be dropped by order of the court, at any stage of the cause,
13before or after judgment, as the ends of justice may require
14and on terms which the court may fix.
