AN ACT concerning regulation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Nursing Home Care Act is amended by changing
Section 2-106a as follows:
(210 ILCS 45/2-106a)
Sec. 2-106a. Resident identification wristlet.
Identification wristlets shall be employed for every resident.
Each identification wristlet shall No identification wristlets

documents the need for such mandatory identification in the
resident's clinical record. When identification bracelets are
required, they must identify the resident's name, and the name,
telephone number, and address of the facility issuing the
identification wristlet.
