1		AN ACT concerning State government.
2		Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3		represented in the General Assembly:
4		Section 5. The Attorney General Act is amended by adding
5		Section 8 as follows:
6		(15 ILCS 205/8 new)
7		Sec. 8. Multistate Registration and Filing Portal. The
8		Attorney General may become a member of the Multistate
9		Registration and Filing Portal, Inc. For purposes of this
10		Section, "Multistate Registration and Filing Portal, Inc."
11		means an independent tax-exempt nonprofit corporation formed
12		to develop and operate a multistate online system that will
13		allow nonprofit organizations and their professional
14		fundraisers to comply with all states' charity registration and
15		annual filing requirements through a single online portal
16		without duplication of data entry.
17		Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
18		becoming law.
