Bill Title: Creates the Anti-Click Gambling Data Analytics Collection Act. AN ACT concerning gaming.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the
Anti-Click Gambling Data Analytics Collection Act.
Section 5. Definitions. As used in this Act, "remote
gambling" means gambling in which persons participate by the
use of remote communication, such as the Internet, telephone,
television, radio, or any other kind of electronic or other
technology for facilitating communication.
Section 10. Data collection prohibited. An entity that
operates a remote gambling platform or a subsidiary of the
entity shall not collect data from a participant with the
intent to predict how the participant will gamble in a
particular gambling or betting scenario.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
