Bill Title: Amends the Child Care Act of 1969. Provides that any employee of the Department of Children and Family Services who is responsible for licensing group day care homes that provide services exclusively to children with developmental disabilities shall be required to take a minimum of 15 hours of training annually from the Bureau of Accreditation, Licensure and Certification of the Department of Human Services on licensure requirements of group homes for the developmentally disabled licensed by the Department of Human Services. Provides that any supervisor of staff at the Department who are responsible for licensing group day care homes that provide services exclusively to children with developmental disabilities shall be required to take a minimum of 15 hours of training annually from the Bureau of Accreditation, Licensure and Certification of the Department of Children and Family Services on licensure requirements of group homes for the developmentally disabled licensed by the Department of Human Services. Provides that training shall be established by the Bureau of Accreditation, Licensure and Certification and, at a minimum, must include shadowing surveys conducted in the field by the Bureau of Accreditation, Licensure and Certification.
