Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. Provides that when a legislator chooses to take official action on a matter despite the existence of a conflict, he or she must notify the members of the chamber to which he or she has been elected of the existence of the conflict by filing a written notice describing the conflict with the Secretary of the Senate or the Clerk of the House of Representatives, whichever is applicable. Provides that, upon receiving such a notification, the Secretary or the Clerk, whichever is applicable, shall forward a copy of the notification to the Legislative Information System for posting on the General Assembly's website with the applicable matter.
