Bill Title: Proposes to amend the Local Government Article of the Illinois Constitution. Provides that if the number of members of a county board exceeds 17, then the number of members may be reduced to 17 upon approval at a county-wide referendum initiated by petition of the county's voters as provided by law. Effective upon being declared adopted.
