Bill Title: Amends the Criminal Code of 2012 and the Unified Code of Corrections. Repeals provisions concerning armed habitual criminals, habitual criminals, and certain 3 time offenders. Provides that notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, a person convicted under those statutes shall be eligible for consideration of parole conditions if his or her final conviction was not first degree murder, aggravated criminal sexual assault, or predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. Provides that notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, a person convicted of being an armed habitual criminal, adjudged adjudged an habitual criminal, or 3 time offender for certain felonies before their repeal on the effective date of the amendatory Act shall not be eligible for consideration of conditions of parole or mandatory supervised release if any of his or her convictions under those statutes was first degree murder, second degree murder, or any offense under the sex offender Article of the Criminal Code of 2012 or the Criminal Code of 1961. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 to make conforming changes.
