Bill Title: Amends the Property Tax Code. In a Section concerning the Senior Citizens Homestead Exemption, provides that, for taxable years 2012 and thereafter, the maximum reduction is $5,000 in all counties. Provides that the maximum reduction under the General Homestead Exemption is $7,000 in Cook County and $6,000 in all other counties. Effective immediately.
