Bill Title: Amends the Department of Transportation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Transportation shall use the latest safety technology at rural intersections to ensure the protection and conservation of life and property on the streets and highways of this State. Provides that the Department shall create a grant program, with money from the Road Fund, to make the latest safety technologies for rural intersections available to counties and townships.
