Bill Title: Amends the Motor Vehicle Franchise Act. Provides that certain provisions of the Act do not prohibit the ownership or operation of a place of business by a manufacturer that manufactures engines, other than gasoline engines, for installation for vehicles having a gross vehicle weight rating of more than 16,000 pounds that are required to be registered under the Illinois Vehicle Code, if the manufacturer does not otherwise manufacture motor vehicles as defined in the Act. Effective immediately.
