Bill Title: Creates the Illinois Amateur Sports Commission Act. Provides that the purpose of the Commission is to advise and to make recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly regarding the promotion, development, expansion, and fostering of amateur sports, amateur sports programs, and amateur sporting events throughout the State. Sets forth the areas of study that the Commission must examine. Sets forth the membership of the Commission. Contains provisions concerning meetings and reporting. Effective immediately.
