Bill Title: Amends the School Code. Provides that in any investigation conducted by the Department of Children and Family Services concerning an allegation of abuse or neglect of a child by the child's custodial parent or guardian, the principal of the school that the child attends shall provide a Child Protective Investigator with reasonable access to the child for the purpose of interviewing the child at the school without first obtaining the consent of the child's custodial parent or guardian or notifying the custodial parent or guardian of the interview. Amends the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act. Provides that in any investigation of a report of suspected abuse or neglect of a child by the child's custodial parent or guardian, a Child Protective Investigator must be afforded reasonable access to the child at the child's school for the purpose of interviewing the child at the school without first obtaining the consent of the child's custodial parent or guardian or notifying the custodial parent or guardian of the interview. Effective immediately.
