Summary

Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that, for the Town of Normal, a president must be elected every 4 years at the general municipal election with other officers to be elected or appointed as set forth by ordinance of the corporate authorities. Provides that each officer shall continue to hold office until the officer's successor is selected and qualified. Sets forth how a vacancy must be filled. Effective immediately.
