Summary

Amends the Carbon Monoxide Alarm Detector Act. Requires the State Fire Marshal to adopt rules requiring the installation of approved carbon monoxide alarms in (i) public schools, as defined in Section 1-3 of the School Code, (ii) non-public schools recognized by the State Board of Education, and (iii) day care centers, as defined in Section 2.09 of the Child Care Act of 1969.
