AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 426
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 426, AS AMENDED,
with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
2, by replacing line 20 on page 4 through line 2 on page 5 with
the following:
"On and after the effective date of this amendatory Act of
the 100th General Assembly, appointments to the board of
trustees of the Thorn Creek Basin Sanitary District shall be
made as provided in this paragraph. The mayor of each
municipality located in whole or in part within the territory
of the District shall recommend a candidate or candidates to be
appointed to the position of trustee. A majority of the mayors
must select an appropriate candidate to be appointed from among
those candidates recommended by the mayors.".
