1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1811

2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1811, AS AMENDED, | ||||||
3 | with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. | ||||||
4 | 1, on page 2, line 18, after the period, by inserting the | ||||||
5 | following:

6 | " A 9-1-1 Authority shall not be subject to the consolidation | ||||||
7 | requirements of this paragraph (2) if the 9-1-1 Authority: (1) | ||||||
8 | serves municipalities that employ more than 50 full-time | ||||||
9 | emergency responders; (2) includes land in both Lake and Cook | ||||||
10 | county and the interchange of Interstate 94 and 294; (3) | ||||||
11 | operates a PSAP in a municipality with rail traffic including | ||||||
12 | one Metra Rail depot in Lake county and one Metra rail depot in | ||||||
13 | Cook county which served over 6,000 passengers daily in 2016; | ||||||
14 | (4) has fully implemented Next Generation 9-1-1; and (5) has a | ||||||
15 | joint emergency telephone system board consisting of 2 or more | ||||||
16 | municipalities that have been consolidated for 2 or more | ||||||
17 | years. ".
