team
during
the
2015-2016

season;
and

Ms.
Gustafson
solidified
her
place
in
Iowa

basketball
history
by
being
named
first
team
all-Big

Ten
by
the
conference
coaches
and
media
during
her
10
sophomore,
junior,
and
senior
seasons
while
twice
being

named
Big
Ten
Player
of
the
Year;
and

WHEREAS,
during
Ms.
Gustafson’s
record-breaking
13
senior
season,
she
became
a
consensus
first
team
14
all-American
while
being
named
Big
Ten
Player
of
the
15
Week
a
record
13
times,
and
became
only
the
fourth

player
in
women’s
college
basketball
history
to
score

1,000
points
in
a
single
season;
and

WHEREAS,
Ms.
Gustafson’s
senior
season
that
included

leading
the
country
in
scoring
per
game
(27.8),
total

double-doubles

field

culminated

Ten
