as
follows:

and
development

through
twelve,
including
instruction
regarding

human
sexuality
;

self-esteem
;
,
stress
management
;
,

interpersonal
relationships
,
;
dating
violence;
affirmative,

conscious,
and
voluntary
consent
to
engage
in
sexual
activity;
8
domestic
abuse
;
,
HPV
and
the
availability
of
a
vaccine
to
9
prevent
HPV
;
,
and
acquired
immune
deficiency
syndrome
as
10
required
in
section
256.11
,
in
grades
one
through
twelve
.

inclusion
of
this
explanation
does

constitute

This
bill
provides
that
the
age-appropriate
and

research-based
instruction
in
human
growth
and
development,

which
each
school
board
must
provide
in
grades
1-12,
must

include

regarding

violence
and

voluntary
consent
to
engage
in
sexual
activity.
