Code
2019,
is
amended
by
adding

the
following
new
subsection:

SUBSECTION

Prohibit
the
community
college
from

scheduling
classes
or
any
community
college
activities
or

events
after
6:00
p.m.
on
the
date
of
a
precinct
caucus
held
as

part
of
the
presidential
nominating
process.

261.2,
Code
2019,
is
amended
by
adding
the

following
new
subsection:

Prohibit
any
postsecondary
institution

than
a
regents
institution
or
community
college
whose

eligible
for

who
receive
financial
assistance

under
programs
administered
by
the
commission

scheduling

events
after
6:00

p.m.
on
the
date
of
a
precinct
caucus
held
as
part
of
the

presidential
nominating
process.

Code
2019,
is
amended
by
adding
the

following

institutions

higher

from

p.m.
on
the
date

Act,
being
deemed
of
immediate

importance,
takes
effect
upon
enactment.
