SERVICES

SPEECH,
HEARING,
AND
LANGUAGE
DISORDERS

PEDIATRIC
POPULATION.
The
department
of
human
services
shall
4
exempt
from
Medicaid
State
Plan
Amendment
19-003,
relating
to
5
a
multiple
procedure
payment
reduction
for
therapy
services,
6
physical
therapy
services,
occupational
therapy
services,
and
7
services
for
individuals
with
speech,
hearing,
and
language
8
disorders,
provided
to
individuals
ages
zero
to
twenty-one.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
11
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
requires
the
department
of
human
services
to
13
exempt
from
the
Medicaid
state
plan
amendment
relating
to
a
14
multiple
procedure
payment
reduction
for
therapy
services,
15
physical
therapy
services,
occupational
therapy
services,
and
16
services
for
individuals
with
speech,
hearing,
and
language
17
disorders,
provided
to
individuals
ages
zero
to
21.
