as
follows:

loud
and
raucous
noise
in
the
vicinity
of
any

residence
or
public
building
which
intentionally
or
recklessly

causes
unreasonable
distress
to
the
occupants
thereof.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute

general
assembly.

Under
current
law,
a
person
engages
in
disorderly
conduct
9
when
the
person
makes
loud
and
raucous
noise
in
the
vicinity
10
of
any
residence
or
public
building
which
causes
unreasonable
11
distress
to
the
occupants
thereof.
This
bill
requires
a
person
12
to
intentionally
or
recklessly
cause
unreasonable
distress
when
13
the
person
engages
in
loud
and
raucous
noise
in
the
vicinity
of
14
any
residence
or
public
building.
15
A
person
who
violates
this
provision
commits
a
simple
16
misdemeanor,
punishable
by
confinement
for
no
more
than
30
days
17
or
a
fine
of
at
least
$65
but
more
than
$625
or
both.
