vehicle”

purposes
of
Code
chapter

which
provides
for
the
registration
and
regulation
of

all-terrain
vehicles
and
off-road
utility
vehicles
by
the
24
department
of
natural
resources.

The
definition
of
“all-terrain
vehicle”
is
amended
by
adding
26
a
width
limitation
of
50
inches
or
less,
by
limiting
the
27
engine
displacement
to
1,000
cubic
centimeters
or
less,
and
by
28
striking
the
requirement
that
the
vehicle
have
a
seat
or
saddle
29
designed
to
be
straddled
by
the
operator
and
handlebars
for
30
steering
control.
31
The
definition
of
“off-road
utility
vehicle”
is
amended
by
32
adding
a
width
limitation
of
65
inches
or
less
and
by
striking
33
the
requirement
that
the
vehicle
have
a
seat
of
bucket
or
bench
34
design
and
a
steering
wheel
or
control
levers.
