1.
Section
23.3,
Code
2019,
is
amended
by
adding
the

following
new
subsection:

SUBSECTION

The
board
shall,
consistent
with
the

provision
of
this
chapter,
comply
with
the
requirements
of

chapters
21
and
22.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
requires
the
Iowa
public
information
board,

consistent
with
the
provisions
of
Code
chapter
23,
to
comply
10
with
the
requirements
of
Code
chapter
21
governing
open
11
meetings
and
Code
chapter
22
governing
open
records.
