This
bill
extends
the
limitation
of
certain
criminal
actions
6
committed
on
or
with
minors.

The
bill
provides
that
an
information
or
indictment
for
the
8
following
criminal
offenses
committed
on
or
with
a
person
who
9
is
under
the
age
of
18
years
shall
be
found
within
15
years
10
after
the
person
upon
whom
the
offense
is
committed
attains
11
18
years
of
age:
lascivious
acts
with
a
child;
assault
with
12
intent
to
commit
sexual
abuse;
indecent
contact
with
a
child;
13
lascivious
conduct
with
a
minor;
sexual
misconduct
with
a
14
juvenile;
child
endangerment;
sexual
exploitation
of
a
minor;
15
kidnapping
in
the
first,
second,
or
third
degree;
and
human
16
trafficking.
If
the
person
against
whom
the
information
or
17
indictment
is
sought
is
identified
through
the
use
of
a
DNA
18
profile,
an
information
or
indictment
shall
be
found
within
19
three
years
from
the
date
the
person
is
identified
by
the
20
person’s
DNA
profile,
or
15
years
after
the
person
upon
whom
21
the
offense
is
committed
attains
18
years
of
age.

Current
law
provides
that
an
information
or
indictment
for
23
the
listed
criminal
offenses
in
the
bill
committed
on
or
with
a
24
person
who
is
under
the
age
of
18
years
shall
be
found
within
25
10
years
after
the
person
upon
whom
the
offense
is
committed
26
attains
18
years
of
age.
