  3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:

  1  1    Section 1.  IOWA CULTURAL TRUST FUND.  Notwithstanding
  1  2 section 8.57E, subsection 2, there is appropriated from the
  1  3 taxpayer trust fund created in section 8.57E to the office of
  1  4 the treasurer of state for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
  1  5 2016, and ending June 30, 2017, the following amount, or so
  1  6 much thereof as is necessary, to supplement appropriations made
  1  7 for the following designated purpose:
  1  8    For administration of the Iowa cultural trust fund created
  1  9 in section 303A.4:
  1 10 .................................................. $  6,135,000
  1 11    Sec. 2.  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Act, being deemed of immediate
  1 12 importance, takes effect upon enactment.
  1 13                           EXPLANATION
  1 14 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
  1 15 the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly.
  1 16    This bill appropriates $6,135,000 from the taxpayer trust
  1 17 fund created to the Iowa cultural trust fund for the fiscal
  1 18 year 2016=2017, to supplement appropriations otherwise made for
  1 19 administration of the Iowa cultural trust fund.
  1 20    The bill takes effect upon enactment.
