The

department
of
human
services
shall
amend
its
administrative

rules
pursuant
to
chapter
17A
to
define
“infant
and
toddler”

as
a
child
between
the
ages
of
two
weeks
and
three
years
and
to

define
“preschool
child”
as
a
child
between
the
ages
of
three
6
years
and
school
age
for
purposes
of
reimbursement
rates
for
7
infant
and
toddler
child
care
providers
reimbursed
under
the
8
state
child
care
assistance
program.
