1.
Section
232.2,
subsection
6,
Code
2014,
is

amended
by
adding
the
following
new
paragraph:

adult

influence
or
control
of
the
child
to
engage

in
acts
prohibited
pursuant
to
section
725.1.

2.
Section
725.1,
Code
2014,
is
amended
to
read
as

follows:

725.1
Prostitution.

1.
a.
A
Except
as
provided
in
paragraph
“b”
,
a
person
who
9
sells
or
offers
for
sale
the
person’s
services
as
a
partner
in
10
a
sex
act
commits
an
aggravated
misdemeanor.
,
or

b.
If
the
person
who
sells
or
offers
for
sale
the
person’s
12
services
as
a
partner
in
a
sex
act
is
under
the
age
of
eighteen
13
and
reasonable
grounds
exist
to
believe
that
the
influence
14
or
control
of
an
adult
contributed
to
the
commission
of
the
15
offense,
the
county
attorney
may
elect,
in
lieu
of
prosecution,
16
to
refer
the
person
to
the
department
of
human
services
17
alleging
that
the
person
is
a
child
in
need
of
assistance
18
pursuant
to
section
232.2,
subsection
6.
19
c.
If
the
person
who
sells
or
offers
for
sale
the
person’s
20
services
as
a
partner
in
a
sex
act
is
under
the
age
of
eighteen,
21
upon
the
expiration
of
two
years
following
the
person’s
22
conviction
for
a
violation
of
paragraph
“a”
or
of
a
similar
23
local
ordinance,
the
person
may
petition
the
court
to
expunge
24
the
conviction,
and
if
the
person
has
had
no
other
criminal
25
convictions,
other
than
local
traffic
violations
or
simple
26
misdemeanor
violations
of
chapter
321
during
the
two-year
27
period,
the
conviction
shall
be
expunged
as
a
matter
of
28
law.
The
court
shall
enter
an
order
that
the
record
of
the
29
conviction
be
expunged
by
the
clerk
of
the
district
court.
30
Notwithstanding
section
692.2,
after
receipt
of
notice
from
31
the
clerk
of
the
district
court
that
a
record
of
conviction
32
has
been
expunged
for
a
violation
of
paragraph
“a”
,
the
record
33
of
conviction
shall
be
removed
from
the
criminal
history
data
34
files
maintained
by
the
department
of
public
safety.

who
solicits
a
patron
for
a
prostitute,
or
who

knowingly
takes
or
shares
in
the
earnings
of
a
prostitute,
or

who
knowingly
furnishes
a
room
or
other
place
to
be
used
for
12
the
purpose
of
prostitution,
whether
for
compensation
or
not,
13
commits
a
class
“D”
felony.

2.
A
person
who
solicits
a

for
a
prostitute
who
is
15
under
the
age
of
eighteen,
or
who
knowingly
takes
or
shares
in
16
the
earnings
of
a
prostitute
who
is
under
the
age
of
eighteen,
17
or
who
knowingly
furnishes
a
room
or
other

to
be
used
for
18
the
purposes
of
prostitution
of
a
prostitute
who
is
under
the
19
age
of
eighteen,
whether
for
compensation
or
not,
commits
a
20
class
“C”
felony.

4.
Section
808B.3,
Code
2014,
is
amended
by
adding
the

following
new
subsection:
