House File 2202 - Enrolled House File 2202 AN ACT RELATING TO MEDICAID PROGRAM REPORTING REQUIREMENTS. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: Section 1. Section 249A.20A, subsection 11, Code 2022, is amended to read as follows: 11. Any savings realized under this section may be used to the extent necessary to pay the costs associated with implementation of this section prior to reversion to the medical assistance program. The department shall report the amount of any savings realized and the amount of any costs paid to the legislative fiscal committee on a quarterly basis. Sec. 2. 2019 Iowa Acts, chapter 82, section 1, is amended to read as follows: SEC. 1. MEDICAID HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES BRAIN INJURY WAIVER MAXIMUM. The department of human services shall eliminate the monthly budget maximum or cap for individuals eligible for the Medicaid home and community-based services brain injury waiver. The department shall track the average amount expended per waiver recipient each fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019, and shall report the information annually to the governor and the general assembly by October 1 December 30 . Sec. 3. 2020 Iowa Acts, chapter 1053, section 1, is amended to read as follows: SEC. 1. MEDICAID HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES ELDERLY WAIVER MAXIMUM.
