H.F. 2075 Section 1. LOW-INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - 1 SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION. There is appropriated from the 2 general fund of the state to the division of community action 3 agencies of the department of human rights for the fiscal year 4 beginning July 1, 2013, and ending June 30, 2014, the following 5 amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the 6 purpose designated: 7 To supplement the appropriation made for the low-income 8 home energy assistance program in 2013 Iowa Acts, chapter 136, 9 section 10: 10 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 1,000,000 11 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE UPON ENACTMENT. This Act, being deemed of 12 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment. 13 EXPLANATION 14 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 15 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 16 This bill makes a supplemental appropriation from the 17 general fund of the state for FY 2013-2014 to the division of 18 community action agencies of the department of human rights for 19 the low-income home energy assistance program.
