Section
1.
MEDICAID
PARTICIPATING
PROVIDERS

REIMBURSEMENT
RATE
INCREASE.
For
the
fiscal
year
beginning
2
July
1,
2022,
the
reimbursement
rates
of
all
Medicaid
program

participating
providers
shall
be
increased
by
fifteen
percent
4
over
the
reimbursement
rates
in
effect
on
June
30,
2022,
in
5
accordance
with
the
reimbursement
methodology
applicable
to
6
the
specific
provider
type.
The
department
of
human
services
7
shall
obtain
any
federal
approval
necessary
to
administer
this
8
section.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
11
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
provides
that
beginning
July
1,
2022,
the
13
reimbursement
rates
of
all
Medicaid
participating
providers
14
shall
be
increased
by
15
percent
over
the
rates
in
effect
on
15
June
30,
2022,
in
accordance
with
the
provider’s
applicable
16
reimbursement
methodology.
The
department
of
human
services
17
shall
obtain
any
federal
approval
necessary
to
administer
the
18
bill.
