Multi-burst
trigger

activator

1.
As
used
in
this
section,
“multi-burst
trigger
activator”

means
a
device
designed
or
redesigned
to
be
attached
to
a
4
semi-automatic
firearm,
which
enables
a
firearm
to
discharge
5
two
or
more
shots
in
a
burst
by
activating
the
device,
or
a
6
manual
or
power-driven
trigger
activating
device
constructed
or
7
designed
so
that
when
attached
to
a
semi-automatic
firearm
it
8
increases
the
rate
of
the
fire
of
that
firearm.
A
multi-burst
9
trigger
activator
includes
firearm
accessories,
parts,
10
and
a
combination
of
parts
that
significantly
increase
a
11
semi-automatic
firearm’s
rate
of
fire
beyond
the
standard
rate
12
of
fire
for
a
semi-automatic
firearm.

A
person
shall
not
manufacture,
possess,
ship,

transport,
or
receive
a
multi-burst
trigger
activator.

A
person
who
violates
subsection
2
commits
a
class
“D”

felony.

this

This
bill
prohibits
the
manufacture,
possession,
shipment,

transportation,
or
receipt
of
a
multi-burst
trigger
activator.

The
bill
defines
a
multi-burst
trigger
activator
to

mean
a
device
designed
or
redesigned
to
be
attached
to
a
24
semi-automatic
firearm,
which
enables
a
firearm
to
discharge
25
two
or
more
shots
in
a
burst
by
activating
the
device,
or
a
26
manual
or
power-driven
trigger
activating
device
constructed
or
27
designed
so
that
when
attached
to
a
semi-automatic
firearm
it

increases
the

of
the

includes
