A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to tax credits.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  Chapter 201, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

     "§201-    Specific economic activity tax credits; Public disclosure.  Upon certification by the department that a taxpayer has received any tax credit under sections 235-17 and 235‑110.91, or chapter 209E, the department shall file a public disclosure identifying the taxpayer that received the tax credit."

     SECTION 2.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
