A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO PETROLEUM INDUSTRY REPORTING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, sections 486J-3, 486J-4, 486J-4.5, 486J-5, and 486J-5.5, Hawaii Revised Statutes, are hereby suspended and shall have no force and effect from the date of this Act until further acted upon by the legislature.
SECTION 2. The director of finance shall transfer to the general fund all unexpended and unencumbered moneys remaining in the petroleum industry monitoring, analysis, and reporting special fund at the close of fiscal year 2009-2010.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon approval.
