A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to the office of hawaiian affairs.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 10-14.55, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended to read as follows:
"[[]§10-14.55[]]
Audit and report. The auditor shall conduct an audit of the office at
least once every four years and shall submit a report on findings and
recommendations to the governor and the legislature on or before the convening
of the next immediate legislative session. The first audit report shall be
submitted no later than January 15, 1996. The auditor shall conduct a
financial and management audit of the office, and shall submit a report on
findings and recommendations to the governor and the legislature on or before
the convening of the 2011 legislative session."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
