A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO DISTRICT COURTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 604-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (c) to read as follows:
"(c) A summons or other writ issued by a
district court may be served anywhere within the State. A summons or other
writ issued by a district court may be served without the State in accordance with
[sections] section 634-24 [and], 634-25[.],
634-34, 634-35, or 634-36."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
