HOUSE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
requesting the auditor to conduct a study of mandatory health insurance coverage for nutrition and lifestyle programs.
WHEREAS, House Bill No. , is pending in the Regular Session of 2016, and proposes that policy coverage for health insurance include nutrition and lifestyle programs; and
WHEREAS, the Auditor is required by law under section 23-51, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to prepare and submit a report to the Legislature on any legislative measure that mandates health insurance coverage; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Twenty-eighth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2016, the Senate concurring, that the Auditor prepare and submit a report to the Legislature pursuant to section 23-51, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and in accordance with section 23-52, Hawaii Revised Statutes, no later than 20 days before the convening of the Regular Session of 2017; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of this Concurrent Resolution be transmitted to the Acting State Auditor and the Insurance Commissioner.
