A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HAWAIIAN HOME LANDS.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $250,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2020-2021 for a study to plan for water flooding, climate change, and redevelopment of twenty parcels in the Mapunapuna or Shafter flats area consisting of the following tax map keys: 1-1-064:006; 1-1-064:009; 1-1-064:010; 1-1-064:011; 1-1-064:012; 1-1-064:013; 1-1-064:014; 1-1-064:015; 1-1-064:016; 1-1-064:017; 1-1-064:018; 1-1-064:019; 1-1-064:020; 1-1-064:021; 1-1-064:022; 1-1-064:031; 1-1-064:032; 1-1-064:033; 1-1-064:034; and 1-1-064:035.

     The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of Hawaiian home lands for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2020.
