A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR EARLY LEARNING.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the following sums or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for the following purposes:

     (1)  $28,800 for travel expenses for the early learning advisory board to attend meetings;

     (2)  $39,492 for the establishment of a secretary IV position for the executive office on early learning; and

     (3)  $57,168 for the establishment of a research statistician IV position for the executive office on early learning.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the executive office on early learning for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
