A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

Relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the thirty-eighth representative district.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2015-2016:

     1.   To be expended by the department of education:

     A.   August Ahrens elementary school, Oahu

          Plans, design, construction, and equipment for the renovation of restrooms in building A and B; drainage improvements to building H; and phase II electrical upgrades.

       Total funding                        $1,679,000

     B.   Honowai elementary school, Oahu

          Plans, design, construction, and equipment for a new classroom building; the renovation and the relocation of the administration offices; the renovation and the relocation of a new outdoor classroom with facilities; ground and site improvements; and appurtenances.

     C.   Waipahu Elementary School, Oahu

     SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of education for the purpose of this Act.
