A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO THE HAWAII CORRECTIONAL SYSTEM OVERSIGHT COMMISSION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2021-2022 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2022-2023 for an oversight coordinator position and necessary support staff positions for the Hawaii correctional system oversight commission, as authorized by section 353L-2, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of the attorney general for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 3050.
