RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Etowah High School graduates Victoria Corr and Tara Janos; and
for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Victoria Corr and Tara Janos were awarded Youth Apprenticeship Completion
Certificates in Healthcare Science from the Georgia Department of Education;
and
WHEREAS,
the certificate requires a minimum of 2,000 hours of employment in a respective
career field; and
WHEREAS,
both 2009 graduates, Victoria is studying pre-med at Georgia State University
and Tara is a nursing major at Kennesaw State University; and
WHEREAS,
they have shown by the example of their academic accomplishments that the
pursuit and attainment of scholastic success are within the reach of the
students in this state; and
WHEREAS,
Victoria and Tara have personified the selfless dedication, mental agility,
verbal adroitness, and personal maturity necessary for superlative academic
performance; and the State of Georgia looks with great anticipation toward the
future of these bright and promising young leaders.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize
Victoria Corr and Tara Janos on their outstanding academic accomplishments and
congratulate them on being awarded Youth Apprenticeship Completion
Certificates.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit appropriate copies of this resolution to Victoria Corr and Tara
Janos.
