A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Centennial High School; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Centennial High School has been recognized as a top high school in Atlanta Magazine's annual list of best high schools; and

WHEREAS, this superlative high school has maintained a proud tradition of excellence in education through the outstanding efforts of the dedicated and hard-working administration, faculty, and staff and the bright, focused, and determined students; and

WHEREAS, by creating a safe and respectful learning environment, Centennial High School enables students to learn with confidence, experience success, and achieve their maximum potential; and

WHEREAS, the teachers, administration, and staff of Centennial High School work diligently and conscientiously to ensure students have access to the training and resources necessary to succeed and foster positive relationships and mutual respect; and

WHEREAS, by its example, Centennial High School has set a standard of achievement and a model of excellence and success for other schools to emulate; and

WHEREAS, the State of Georgia takes great pride in the diligent study and preparation taken by the students of Centennial High School and looks forward in anticipation to the great achievements this school will accomplish in the future.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body congratulate Centennial High School for being named a top high school by Atlanta Magazine and commend its outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in education.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Centennial High School.
