WHEREAS,
Judge Francis Flagg Putney heeded the call in 1911 and made the founding

WHEREAS,
Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital has achieved several firsts during its first

infants throughout 22 surrounding counties; and
WHEREAS,

Volunteer Hospitals of America Leadership Awards, earned the prestigious Foster

and
WHEREAS,
Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital's contribution to the community at large
transcends healthcare, and for 100 years, Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital has
fulfilled the founders' vision of access to high quality healthcare for the
residents of the region.
