RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Sister Madeline McCrary; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Sister Madeline McCrary has long been recognized by the citizens of this state
for the vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal
commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time,
talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as
evidenced by her 30 years of superlative service with Order of the Eastern Star;
and
WHEREAS,
Sister McCrary is a Worthy Matron of Christian Chapter Number 67 of the Order of
the Eastern Star Smooth Ashlar District Number 15; and
WHEREAS,
she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS,
Sister McCrary is a devoted Mother who stands for what she believes is right and
has an unyielding faith in a Supreme Being; and
WHEREAS,
an active member in her community, Sister McCrary has worked with different
nursing homes, Easter hunts for the kids, and her annual prayer breakfast;
and
WHEREAS,
she has given generously of her time and assets, thereby accomplishing great
missions, contributing tremendously to the quality of life in her community, and
it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstanding Georgian be
appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Sister Madeline McCrary for 30 years of efficient, effective,
unselfish, and dedicated public service to the Order of the Eastern Star and the
State of Georgia.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Sister
Madeline McCrary.
