RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Dr. Hamid Sadri; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Dr. Hamid Sadri has been providing health services to the metropolitan Atlanta
area for the past 25 years; and
WHEREAS,
Dr. Sadri is a 1986 graduate of Life University School of Chiropractic in
Marietta, Georgia, where he is an extended faculty member; and
WHEREAS,
he is an active member of the Atlanta community conducting numerous free
workshops for local corporations and athletic clubs on injury prevention, work
place ergonomics, and proper posture and body mechanics; and
WHEREAS,
he has served as a guest lecturer for many organizations, including Emory
University; and
WHEREAS,
he served as one of the treating doctors at the 2005 Florida Ironman competition
and as one of the 2008 Georgia ING Marathon and Half Marathon medical team
members; and
WHEREAS,
he was one of five doctors selected from the United States to be part of the
treating doctors team at the 2009 World Games in Taiwan, and he served as a
treating doctor at the 2009 Judo Masters World Championships in Atlanta;
and
WHEREAS,
he is a member in good standing with the American Chiropractic Association, the
Georgia Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association's
Council on Sports Injury and Fitness, the National Strength and Conditioning
Association, and the United States Sports Chiropractic Federation;
and
WHEREAS,
he is recognized in the 1994 Who's Who in Georgia, was selected for the 2000
Who's Who National Registry, and was selected as one of America's Top
Chiropractors in 2006 by the Consumer's Research Council; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Dr. Hamid Sadri for his efficient, effective, unselfish, and
dedicated public service to the health of the citizens of State of Georgia and
extend to him their most sincere best wishes for continued health and
happiness.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Dr. Hamid
Sadri.
